Nicoleta-Valentina B

Nicoleta-Valentina was born in 2001. By 2011, it was clear to the Child Protection Agency that Nicoleta's mother would not be able to properly take care of her children. Despite multiple efforts and the local authorities' involvement to keep the family together, the children had to be removed from their home.

We were asked if we would take Nicoleta into our care, and soon after, she moved into our orphanage, her new home.

Nicoleta-Valentina or Valy (as we like to call her) proved to be an intelligent young girl, always involved in our projects and activities and striving to do well in school. Often we would find her reading a book. In addition, she enjoys playing volleyball and practicing playing the violin.

While she was with us, she loved working with children and decided to attend the Pedagogical High School, where she graduated with excellent results. After her final exams, we had numerous conversations with her about her future and starting an independent life. She told us she would like to start working. She has found a job in the hotel industry and lives in a beautiful mountainous city in northeastern Romania. She is already enjoying the reward of hard work and is grateful to be able to take care of herself and continue to grow.

Please keep her in your prayers as she starts independent life. May our loving God always guide her steps, and may she always find comfort in the shadow of His wings, remembering the lessons she learned during her Hand of Help years and trying to be an example to others.
