Bianca M

Bianca M. started a new chapter of her life in September, 2015 when she became a part of our large family, together with her sister, Georgiana, and brother, Alexandru.

Born in a family known in the community for the abusive behavior of the parents, the siblings witnessed countless visits from local authorities, questioning their parents on the frequent conflicts, heavy drinking, long periods of time spent away from the children and total neglect of their parental duties.

Their father refused to work, and ultimately abandoned the family, while the mother was impassible at her children's basic needs and was even imprisoned.

Bianca has grown up under our eyes- a hardworking young girl, very studious and involved in many activities around the orphanage. She was a helper to her social workers, always cleaning around the house – doing the laundry, vacuuming and constantly coming up with ideas to decorate and personalize her space.

In her free time, she loved doing arts and crafts (knitting, sewing, decoupages, etc) and roller skating outside the orphanage building.

After turning 18, Bianca decided to leave our center and enroll in a state program that offers young adults a monthly stipend until the age of 26 as long as they meet certain schooling/ work requirements.

She is also considering moving abroad to work.

Thank you for your love and support for Bianca. We thank God for the opportunity to sow the seed of the Gospel in her life. May He draw Bianca unto Himself and open her eyes to the truths of His Word. Please continue to keep her in your prayers as she starts navigating the challenges of independent life. May she remember the important lessons she has learnt throughout her years at Hand of Help and apply them to every decision she makes.
